Support for Every Stage of a Woman’s Life

Group of Women Socialize Teamwork Happiness Concept

Many women experience health concerns that can affect their comfort, confidence, and quality of life. Bladder leakage, pelvic pain or pressure, vaginal dryness, hormonal changes, and sexual health concerns are common – but they aren’t something you simply have to accept.

Our team is dedicated to helping women find answers and effective treatment options. Dr. Toby Handler and Dr. Sarah Girardi specialize in female urologic conditions, and now we’re pleased to welcome Dr. Michele Powers to our team.

A board-certified gynecologist with more than 17 years of experience, Dr. Powers focuses on hormonal balance and personalized care for women at every stage of life. She earned her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Her special interest is helping women navigate the physical and emotional changes that accompany hormonal shifts throughout life.

Whether you’re experiencing menopause symptoms, hormone imbalances, bladder concerns, pelvic discomfort, or changes in sexual health, you don’t have to figure it out alone. Don’t Let an Enlarged Prostate Control Your Life

A man rushing to the toilet. Side view. Topics of health, digestion and hygieneIf you look for the bathroom every time you enter a store or restaurant, your bladder may be telling you something. An urgent need to pee, a weak urine stream, feeling like you’re unable to completely empty your bladder, and waking numerous times to pee all are symptoms of an enlarged prostate (BPH). It’s common as men age. But that doesn’t mean you have to live with it.

Relief begins with a simple test

An accurate diagnosis often begins with a UroCuff test. This simple, non-invasive, 10-minute test takes place at the urology office. Results provide important insight into the cause of your symptoms and tells your urologist if your bladder and urethra work effectively when you urinate.

Watch Dr. Alexander Epelbaum discuss options for diagnosing and treating BPH.
