Dr. Daniel Rittenberg is a board-certified Urologist practicing in the Garden City area. He earned his undergraduate degree at Colgate University in Hamilton, NY, followed by his medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. He completed a General Surgery internship at Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans, LA. He then went on to complete his urology residency at Stony Brook University Hospital in Stony Brook, NY, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year.
Dr. Rittenberg has written numerous peer review journals, manuscripts and abstracts that have been presented at national and international meetings including the American Urologic Association annual conference and World Congress of Endourology.
His special interests include minimally invasive treatment of both benign and malignant conditions of the kidneys, bladder, and prostate and treatment of female pelvic organ prolapse. He utilizes new minimally invasive techniques for treatment of BPH. He also treats both urinary incontinence and overactive bladder in men and women and can provide endoscopic management of kidney stones and tumors of the urinary tract.
